This summer I've had the amazing opportunity to work as the office manager at NC Governor's School East. Through this position I've been able to get to know the amazing faculty and gain greater insight into the program's inner-workings. Special thanks to the choral music faculty for letting me work with the Community Chorus. We put together a couple of informal pieces for a Pete Seeger tribute and I had the pleasure of leading "Wimoweh." The tribute was a powerful reminder of the beauty and simplicity in communal singing. Special thanks to my dear friend and fellow GSE faculty member Bear for capturing this event and sending me these shots a couple days later.
